27 November - Melbourne Hat Payments Update
Payment Details and Deadlines
For the Registered people, once there is a $100 next to your name your in the Hat, it there is a $5.00 next to your name then we are waiting for confirmation from our bank that you have paid and your spot is on hold.
If you are on the waiting list, please pay the $100 NOW and email the TD John Hempel.
From December 1st the fee will be $120.00

5 November - Melbourne Hat Payments
Ladies and Gentlemen
Time is flying!! There are only 5 weeks left till the opening pull at this years Melbourne Hat.
If you haven't paid yet, you need to!! The only way to Guarantee your spot is to pay before Monday!! If you do not pay by Monday your spot is up for grabs. There is a long list of people waiting for a spot in the Hat this year and as soon as Monday comes, if they have paid they are in!!
AS OF MONDAY YOU ONLY GET A SPOT IF YOU HAVE PAID!!!
Now can you please check the website http://www.afda.com/rego/showdivision.php?divisionid=1244 and make sure that your payment has reached us (it will be marked off against your name). There have been a couple of random payments and we would hate for those good people to miss out. If you have paid and it is not registered please email me john_hempel@yahoo.com and I will chase it up for you.

29 October - Update from the TD
So... We got more fields... we opened up rego again... rego filled up in 4 hours... we closed rego again...
That's right - Registration for the Melbourne Hat has closed for a second time and this time, that is it!!
The Meeting with Parks Victoria produced a very unexpected outcome... More Fields!! This has enabled registrations to be capped at 336 people for this year. The extra places were filled in about 4 hours.
This only changes the number of spots. It doesn't change anything else!!!
You still need to pay by Nov 9th to secure your place!! Please email me the receipt of your payment when you have done this (john_hempel@yahoo.com) and I will mark off your name. Only when I receive your payment is your place guaranteed.
There is a list of things to bring, just like last year we will not be providing plates or bowls or cutlery, if you want to eat please bring you own!! We will have plastic stuffs available for sale if you forget but it will cost you (about $5 per set of plate, bowl, knife and fork)!!!!!

For those of you that were quick enough to register. You now have until the 9th of November (2 weeks and 3 days) to pay for your spot in the Hat for this year. As it has booked out! Once this date is reached I will be offering the spots of whoever hasnÕt paid to the lineup that is growing.
I am NOT your mother and will not be giving people a second chance!!! If you have a problem paying please email me!!! If it reaches the 9th and you have not paid YOUR SPOT IS NO LONGER GUARANTEED!!!

Hi Guys
Because MOST of you registered BEFORE the official email went out and BEFORE the rego was finished, I now need you to do something for me.
Would you be so kind as to go back in and add how many Melbourne Hats you have attended!
This will allow us to determine who has competed in 5, 10 and 20 Hats (Which will net you a little something as a thanks for your support).
If you don't do it you won't get anything EVEN IF YOU ARE AT THAT MILESTONE!!!!

Hi One and All
I hope this email finds you all well and recovered (for those of you that went) from what I gather was a fantastic couple of days in sunny, warm Tasmania at Mixed Nats or the Two Hat.
As most of you have probably figured out (not that you were meant too) the Melbourne Hat Registration Page on the AFDA website went up a couple of weeks ago and has been flooded with people signing up from all over Australia and the world for what is going to be a fantastic Tournament. HOWEVER...
...DOING THIS IS NO GUARANTEE OF A SPOT!!! ...you need to do more...
The only thing that will grant you a spot on a team is full payment of the fees into the VFDA bank account (for details read on).

Location: Albert Park. Pit Building 5 (I hope) Fields 14 and 15.

The pit buildings are on the straight bit of Aughtie Drive and fields 14 and 15 are opposite it.
Dates:
- Ultimate - Sat 12th Dec - Sun 13th Dec
- Golf - Friday 11th Dec
Times:
Golf - Friday
- Tee off after 7.00PM
- Early Rego and player pack pickup will be available and is encouraged at the Golf!
Ultimate - Saturday
- Teams Called out at 8:30AM
- Captain's Meeting at 9:00AM
- GAME ON at 9:30AM
- Games all day
- Dinner at 5:30PM
- PARTY from 7:30PM
Ultimate - Sunday
- Breakfast from 8:00AM
- GAME ON at 9:00AM
- Final at 3:00PM
- Presentation at 4:30PMish
Accommodation: If you would like to be Billeted out to some of the fantastic Victorian Ultimate players, please email Mel Gangemi and she will sort you out with all the information you need.
Eating Habits: I'm sure most of you are experienced with the Ultimate lunch basket but just so that we know can you please write a comment in the rego page letting us know if you have any dietary requirements eg, gluten free, vegan, vegi, carnivore, hippy, communist... etc I will pass this information on to the lovely lunch ladies and as many marketing companies that I can.
Cost:
- $100 but only until
November 22nd. Update: If you have registered in the first 280 people, you now have only until November 9th to pay $100 to get a guaranteed spot! - $120 after November 22nd until December 10th.
- $150 on the day!!! (I DON'T WANT TO BE HANDLING PAYMENTS ON THE DAY!)
Internationals: If you are coming in from overseas and can't make the payment yet, send me an email and we can work something out.
