All airlines have many daily flights between Melbourne and other Australian state capitals. You could expect to pay between A$80 and A$200 (one way) for flights Melbourne-Sydney or Melbourne-Adelaide, and between A$150-A$300 (one way) for longer routes such as Melbourne-Perth.
